2. ENTRY & PARTICIPATION

2.1 Registration

All Teams and Participants must be registered prior to participation.

2.2 Acceptance of Terms

By registering, the Team Organiser agrees to these Terms on behalf of all Participants, parents/guardians, and associated persons.

2.3 Formation of Agreement

A binding Agreement is formed once registration is accepted by YFLDubai.

2.4 Right of Refusal

YFLDubai reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or remove any Team or Participant at its sole discretion.

2.5 Compliance

All Participants must comply with Competition Rules and YFLDubai instructions at all times.

2.6 Fixtures & Scheduling

YFLDubai reserves the right to amend fixtures, formats, or schedules where necessary.

2.7 FIXTURE ACCEPTANCE, PARTICIPATION & MEDICAL RESPONSIBILITY

  1. By accepting a Fixture and/or entering the field of play, the Team Organiser, Participants, and representatives confirm their agreement to participate.
  2. Participation in any Competition is undertaken entirely at the Participant’s own risk.
  3. The Team Organiser is responsible for ensuring that all Participants:
    • are physically and medically fit to participate;
    • have inspected and accepted the playing surface, equipment, and conditions;
    • voluntarily elect to participate.
  4. Teams may decline to play if conditions are unsafe. However, once a fixture commences, full acceptance of all risks and conditions is deemed.
  5. Commencement of play constitutes conclusive evidence of acceptance.
  6. The Team Organiser, coaches, and club representatives are responsible for the immediate welfare of Participants and shall act as first responders in the event of injury.
  7. YFLDubai will provide access to medical support for emergency use only.
  8. Responsibility for minor injuries, ongoing care, and follow-up treatment rests with the Team Organiser, Participant, and/or parent/guardian.
  9. YFLDubai does not assume medical responsibility beyond emergency assistance and shall not be liable for any diagnosis, treatment, or outcome.

3. PAYMENT

  1. All fees must be paid in full prior to participation unless agreed otherwise in writing.
  2. YFLDubai reserves the right to refuse or suspend participation where fees are outstanding.
  3. YFLDubai reserves the right to recover outstanding fees through legal means within the UAE.
  4. Prices may be amended prior to booking confirmation.
  5. Payments are non-refundable unless expressly stated otherwise.

3.1 ADMINISTRATIVE & SERVICE FEES

YFLDubai reserves the right to apply fees for any requests made by a Team, including but not limited to:

All applicable fees will be communicated in advance and must be paid prior to action.

4. CANCELLATIONS & WITHDRAWALS

  1. Withdrawals must be submitted in writing.
  2. All cancellations must be submitted officially through SportStack. Cancellation fees may apply.
  3. Refunds (if any) are at the sole discretion of YFLDubai.
  4. No refunds will be provided after the Competition has commenced, and the full season fee remains due and payable.
  5. Failure to attend fixtures may result in forfeiture, sanctions, and/or additional fees.

5. CONDUCT

  1. Teams are responsible for the behaviour of Participants and Supporters that represent their club.
  2. YFLDubai may remove any individual or Team for misconduct without refund.
  3. Any damage caused must be paid for immediately by the responsible party.

6. SAFETY & RISK

Participation in football involves inherent physical risk. All Participants take part voluntarily and at their own risk.

YFLDubai shall not be liable for injury, loss, or damage except where directly caused by its proven negligence and subject to applicable law.

7. SUPERVISION, RESPONSIBILITY & VENUE USE

7.1 Parental / Guardian Responsibility

All Participants under 18 must be supervised at all times by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult.

7.2 Responsibility Outside Match Play

  1. YFLDubai responsibility is strictly limited to active on field participation during a Fixture.
  2. Responsibility transfers to the parent/guardian:
    • before fixtures
    • between fixtures
    • after fixtures
    • beyond the football field of play
  3. YFLDubai does not assume any supervisory duty outside match play.
  4. This includes all areas such as:
    • car parks and roads
    • walkways and access routes
    • spectator areas and stands
    • changing rooms and facilities
    • surrounding premises
  5. At all such times, responsibility rests solely with the parent/guardian.

7.3 Venue Use & Infrastructure

  1. Venues are third-party facilities contracted for pitch usage only.
  2. YFLDubai does not own, operate, or control venue infrastructure.
  3. YFLDubai shall not be responsible for:
    • car parks, roads, or access areas
    • lighting, fencing, or facilities
    • toilets, seating, or hospitality areas
  4. These remain under the responsibility of the venue operator.
  5. YFLDubai shall not be liable for any act or omission of third-party venue providers.

8. INSURANCE

  1. Participants and/or their parent, guardian, or responsible adult are responsible for ensuring that appropriate personal accident, medical, and health insurance is in place prior to participation in any Competition.
  2. YFLDubai does not provide personal accident, medical, or health insurance coverage for Participants, and accepts no responsibility for any costs incurred in relation to injury, treatment, or medical care.
  3. YFLDubai maintains public liability insurance in accordance with applicable legal and operational requirements. Such insurance is limited to YFLDubai’s legal liability as determined under these Terms and applicable law, and does not extend to provide individual coverage for Participants, Teams, or spectators.

9. MEDIA & DATA

  1. YFLDubai may use photographs and videos for promotional purposes without compensation.
  2. Participants consent to the collection and use of personal data for Competition administration.

10. LIABILITY

  1. YFLDubai provides services with reasonable care and skill.
  2. YFLDubai shall not be liable for:
    • injuries accepted through participation
    • incidents outside the field of play
    • lack of supervision by parents/guardians
    • venue or third-party issues
  3. Liability is limited to One (1) times the total fees paid.
  4. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where prohibited by law.

11. DISPUTES

  1. Disputes must be submitted in writing within 48 hours.
  2. Any disputes raised may incur an administration fee.
  3. YFLDubai decisions are final and binding.
  4. Competitions must continue during dispute resolution.

12. FORCE MAJEURE

YFLDubai shall not be liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond its control, including weather, government restrictions, or venue issues.

13. TERMINATION

YFLDubai may terminate participation for breach of these Terms without refund.

14. ASSIGNMENT

YFLDubai may assign its rights under this Agreement without consent.

15. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

16. ACCEPTANCE

By registering, the Team Organiser confirms that:
