Youth Football League Dubai (“YFLDubai”) is committed to promoting equality, embracing diversity, and creating an inclusive environment where all individuals are treated with respect, dignity, and fairness.

- all individuals should have equal opportunity to participate, develop, and enjoy the game.
YFLDubai operates a zero-tolerance approach to discrimination, harassment, and exclusion.
2. PURPOSE
This policy aims to:
- ensure fair and equal treatment for all Participants and stakeholders;
- promote inclusion across all Competitions and activities;
- prevent discrimination, harassment, and victimisation;
- align with UAE values of tolerance, respect, and coexistence.
3. SCOPE
This policy applies to:
- Players / Participants
- Coaches and Team Officials
- Team Organisers
- Parents / Guardians
- Spectators
- YFLDubai staff and contractors
It applies across all YFLDubai activities, venues, and communications.
4. LEGAL & CULTURAL FRAMEWORK
YFLDubai aligns with:
- UAE Federal laws relating to anti-discrimination and tolerance;
- national values promoting respect, inclusion, and cultural diversity;
- international best practice in sport governance.
All individuals are expected to respect:
- local laws
- cultural sensitivities
- community standards within the UAE
5. PROTECTED CHARACTERISTICS
YFLDubai does not tolerate discrimination on the basis of:
- nationality or ethnicity
- gender
- age
- religion or belief
- disability
- socio-economic background
All Participants are entitled to equal treatment regardless of background.
6. COMMITMENT TO INCLUSION
YFLDubai will:

All individuals must:

8. PROHIBITED CONDUCT
The following will not be tolerated:
- discrimination or unequal treatment
- racist, sexist, or offensive language
- harassment or bullying
- exclusion or victimisation
- inappropriate gestures or behaviour
- online abuse or misconduct
9. RESPONSIBILITIES
9.1 YFLDubai
Responsible for:
- implementing and enforcing this policy;
- promoting inclusion across all activities;
- addressing breaches promptly and fairly.
9.2 Team Organisers & Coaches
Responsible for:
- ensuring their teams comply with this policy;
- promoting respectful and inclusive behaviour;
- addressing issues within their teams.
9.3 Parents & Spectators
Responsible for:
- modelling respectful behaviour;
- supporting an inclusive environment;
- not engaging in discriminatory or abusive conduct.
10. REPORTING CONCERNS
Any concerns relating to discrimination or inclusion should be:
- reported to YFLDubai staff or management;
- raised as soon as possible;
- handled confidentially where appropriate.
11. INVESTIGATION & ACTION
YFLDubai will:
- investigate all reported concerns;
- take appropriate action based on findings;
- ensure fairness and consistency in decision-making.
12. DISCIPLINARY ACTION
Breaches of this policy may result in:
- warnings
- removal from fixtures
- suspension from Competitions
- permanent bans
- referral to authorities where required
13. MONITORING & REVIEW
YFLDubai will:
- regularly review this policy;
- adapt practices to improve inclusion;
- ensure alignment with UAE laws and standards.
14. ACCEPTANCE
By participating in YFLDubai Competitions, all individuals confirm that they:
- understand and accept this policy;
- will act in accordance with its principles;
- recognise that breaches may result in disciplinary action.
